"Better Combo" (also known as "Better" by Yoma) is a lease-to-buy program that enables customers to purchase smart devices and home appliances for everyday use. It provides immediate access to the latest technology at affordable prices through a flexible lease-to-buy plan.
2. Who is eligible to apply "Better Combo"?
Our selected users from Yoma Car Share, Wave Agents and Grab Drivers who receive eligibility SMS can apply “Better Combo”.
3. Which products are available at the "Better Combo" program?
Mobile phones, tablets and home appliances are available in “Better Combo” program.
4. How can I apply for "Better Combo"?

  • 1. Register your account with us.
  • 2. Once registration is successful, choose the product and place your order.
  • 3. Check out by filling application form with required documents.
All set and get ready to own your smart product.
5. How can I know if my registation is successful?

We will verify your registration and approve/reject within 30 Minutes.

6. What is available lease to buy tenure?

Available lease-to-buy tenure is 6 months and 12 months. You can choose the repayment term at your convenience.

7. What is the minimum and maximum down payment required?

You can choose starting from 20% downpayment amount and the maximum downpayment you can pay is 50% of the product price.

8. Is there any administrative fee?

Yes, there is an administrative fee of 3% of the product price. The admin fee needs to be paid before the collection of devices via WavePay Biller account and it will not be refundable.

9. What are the requirements to apply "Better Combo"?
  • Applicant must be in the eligible list of selected Yoma Car Share user, Wave Agent, or Grab Diver.
  • Applicant must receive eligibility SMS from Better Combo.
  • Applicant must provide WavePay verified Level 2 phone number.
  • Applicant must have minimum specified income amount to apply “Better Combo”.
  • Applicant must provide personal information, employment information, guarantor information and other required documents.
10 . Is guarantor require to apply "Better Combo"?

Yes, guarantor is required to apply Better Combo and you need to provide guarantor information such as Name, NRC, his/her WavePay Level 2 phone number and Address.

12. What is ID selfie with NRC?
ID-Selfie is taking a selfie image of yourself holding your NRC/Passport near your face. Information on NRC/Passport must be clear and visible on the image.
13. What is POA?

Proof of Address is a receipt slip which includes your permanent address for example Internet Bill Slip, house rental contract, first page of the bank book with your address, bank state with your address or Meter Bill Slip.

14. What is a company employee?

Company employee means an employee who is currently working at a company for more than 6 months permanently and who can show monthly salary pay slips.

15. What does "Self-Employed" mean?

Self-employed is a person who runs his own business and who can show monthly income statement.

16. What is signed contract?

Signed contract is a lease-to-buy agreement contract which you can see in Better Combo Check Out page while you are making an order. Please read thoroughly first and sign the contract.

17. How can I collect my order?

You can collect your item at the merchant store selected during the ordering process. Please remember to bring your original NRC and a copy. Make sure to collect the item within 3 days after it becomes ready for pickup.

18. How can I know lease to buy application status?

We will inform you about your application approval status within 2 working hours after your successful lease-to-buy application via Email and SMS. You can also check your order status in Better Combo website --> My Account --> Orders.

19. How can I pay the monthly lease-to-buy repayment amount?
You can pay monthly repayment amount via Better Biller Account in WavePay. Please see below steps of how you can make payment via our Better Biller Account in WavePay.
 
Click “Others” on home page menu and under “Bill Payments”, there will be “Better” logo.
Enter Name, Order ID, NRC, and Amount and click “Continue”.
Your monthly repayment to Better is successful and we will verify the transaction.
20. What if my repayment late?

If your repayment is late, we will auto-deduct the monthly repayment amount from your WavePay verified phone number which is provided by you when you register at Better Combo. 

21. What if my Wavepay account doesn't has enough balance by lease to buy repayment date?

We will deduct the available amount from your WavePay account and penalty charges will be applied for late repayment if repayment is not successful on lease-to-buy repayment date.  

22. How will panelty charges be calculated?

A late fee of MMK 2,000 will be charged per day and will be calculated based on the number of late days.

23. What will happen if I want to repay all my lease to buy outstanding amount early?

You may repay all your outstanding lease-to-buy amount early and we are not charging any fees. No reduction or changes in lease fees for early repayment.

24. I have difficulties accessing my WavePay account and I missed my repayment deadline. What will happen?

We will deduct the available amount from your WavePay account. You will have a grace period of 5 days and you will need to pay the monthly repayment amount within 5 days. If you are late again, you will be charged a late fee of 2,000 MMK per day as penalty charges. For repayment through other payment channels, contact us for details.

25. Can I apply "Better Comb" lease-to-buy next times?

Yes, you can apply next time after you have fully repaid the previous outstanding amount.
